Trinity Hospice / Brian House

This week’s featured member is Trinity Hospice. Janet Atkins gives on overview of what the charity is about and how you can help

Trinity Hospice has been at the heart of the Fylde coast for almost 35 years with one essential goal – to provide compassionate care for people on their journey towards the end of life.

Each year, our specialist nursing teams, both at the Hospice and in people’s own homes, touch the lives of thousands – and we know many more will call on us for help in the years to come.

That’s why we’ve set out a bold vision for the future – that everyone across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast, should have access to high-quality end-of-life care.

As a local charity, we receive less than 40 pence from every £1 we need to provide our services from the government. We rely on the generosity of local people to help us meet the needs of over 9,000 local people each year. To achieve our vision, we must continue to call on our community – the community we care for and treasure – for help.

There are so many ways to you can help your local hospice, from fundraising, volunteering, sponsoring an event – this list is long!

One thing that might be of help at this time of year is our Christmas Tree recycle campaign – in exchange for a donation we will pick up and take away your tree. Here is the link to find out more: https://www.trinityhospice.co.uk/…/corpora…/tree-collection/

If your company is looking for a charity to support in 2020 then get in touch and we can show you what a difference you will be making to our adults and children.
